ABSTRACT
Since the vision of the SemanticWeb in Year 2001, more and more concepts and ideas of the Semantic Web are integrated in a variety of (web-) applications. But what about the condition of the information quality in such systems? In this paper we describe the appearing information quality problems in Semantic Web application and we try to transform the 15 dimensions of information quality on the layer model of the Semantic Web. Subsequent to this effort we show concrete data quality problems and the solutions to solve them.
ZUSAMMENFASSUNG
Seit der Vision des SemanticWeb im Jahr 2001 halten immer mehr Konzepte und semantische Verfahren in ganz alltägliche (Web-) Anwendungen Einzug.Wie ist es jedoch mit der Informationsqualität in solchen Systemen bestimmt? Im Verlauf dieses Dokumentes untersuchen wir die möglichen auftretenden Informationsmängel in semantischen Anwendungen und versuchen einige der 15 Dimensionen der Informationsqualität auf das Schichtenmodell des Semantic Web zu übertragen. Im Anschluss schlagen wir Lösungen für auftretende Datenqualitätsprobleme vor.
